Nice Almost-Spring Hike
What do you do when you get a brand new car? Take it on a dirt road, of course!

I see that Ellie has the rockhound, B-family blood. Grandpa will be proud! It reminds me of hiking into an abandoned mica mine on one trip to Colorado. Edward kept picking up rocks on the way into the mine. Finally, he left piles to pick up on the way back. His dad ended up carrying one very large, mica-filled rock the whole way because Edward insisted on keeping that big rock....Thank goodness for strong dads.

Yes, Ellie *loves* rocks. They can keep her entertained for a loonng time! We have some on a shelf in the house (I'm sure I got them from Dad's hunting trips) and Tim gave a few to Ellie to play with last weekend. She was like, "Rocks? In the house? This is the best day ever!!"
Now I know what to get her for birthday and Christmas gifts! Shipping *rocks* to Ellie will be fun!
