Ellie and Kip Video

So since I don't know how to make YouTube videos appear in my blog, you'll just have to follow this link to see Ellie hugging Kip. At the beginning of the video you can her her nasty cough. She has had RSV all week and a mild case of pneumonia. She is feeling much better, but still sounds terrible.

I'll post some birthday pictures later this week. Ellie had a nice party with some of her friends.

Oh, and if you are a Blogger, can you tell me how to insert the actual YouTube video here (instead of just a link)?

When you go to the page using the URL you posted, take a look at the right side (near the top). You should see two sets of code, one for URL and the other for "embed." Grab the embed code and add it to your page. Now, I've not done this in blogger, but it works for other sites. If that doesn't work, you can also use the tools with your YouTube channel. When you're logged in, go to your account settings and choose Custom Video Players. Click Create New Player, complete the fields, and then click Generate Code. Plop that coded into blogger. OR, you can continue to link to them directly or by telling us to go to your channel and browse: http://www.youtube.com/user/ellieroo7

Oh. If you do the custom player thing, you need to first create a playlist (to which your player is attached). So, from your account settings page, go to Playlists. At the top left, click New:Playlist. Capture the URL and embed pieces that you get in that process. You might want to use them later for linking in blogger (if nothing else works). Once your playlist is created, go to your Uploaded Videoes page. Click the checkbox next to the video(s) that you want in the playlist, and then click Add To: Playlist (at the top of the page). Pick the playlist you just made and now those videos are in that playlist. You can have lots of playlists and the same video can be in multiple playlists. Now...you can go make you customer player and tie it to the playlist. Make sense?
